Midnight blue and silver star themed Wedding ideas!?

My sister is getting married in 3 months and they just decided their theme for the wedding, It's midnight blue and silver star theme. I need any and every idea you can think of. The only thing that is set is the cake. I need pictures and creative ideas from decorations to invitations to favors to anything you can think of, I need web sites and pictures and anything that could help me get a good idea! Is it uncouth to inquire about a wedding invitation if you received the Save The Date?

My mom got invited to a wedding from a young lady that she regulary sits next to at church.

She recieved the save the date a while ago, but the wedding is June 5th and she has yet to receive the invitations. Is it tacky to call the person and ask them what happened to the invitation?

What should I write on my wedding invitation if we are not serving dinner, but lots of appetizers instead?

We are also having wine and beer. The wedding doesn't start until 7:30, so the reception won't begin until 8:15 or so…

So my husband and I never had a proper wedding, so we wanna invite our close friends and family on a 4 day wedding cruise with us. We have family members willing to fly to Miami (where the cruise sails from) but we dont know how to word it,we'd rather it be more humourus than formal. how do i sound:

I need some help please. I ordered some DIY wedding invitations with the design imprinted on them.?

All I have to do is type the wording, but there were no instructions on how to set them up in the printer and I'm not sure what to do. I've contacted them to see if they have any software I can purchase. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to do this without the software? Is there free software I can get online. Thanks for any help.
