Would it be rude to ask our wedding guests to give us money instead of gifts? We really need the money since we are putting soooo much money into the wedding/honeymoon. My soon to be mother-in-law suggested putting a "money tree" or "money box" next to the guest book for our guests to put money in instead of giving us gifts. Im just not sure if that would be rude or tacky. ...
