There have been more than a few cases where one spouse either never discovers their spouse is being unfaithful or finds out way too late. Why? More than likely it is a philandering spouse’s ability to cover their tracks. By maintaining the illusion of normalcy they are able to keep their significant other from getting suspicious.

Most betrayed spouses want to find out what is going on to either remove all suspicion and get on with their lives. But there is no way a cheating spouse is going to make it easy for them. Once an unfaithful spouse starts lying then they have to keep it up to make sure the extramarital affair stays a secret. That means everything which can possibly be remotely connected to their wrongdoing has to be falsified to some degree or another.
