Christians a Question About Wedding Vows?

If you are suppose to be reunited with friends and family in heaven. Why is it that wedding vows end with "until death do you part" or "until parted by death?" How come it doesn't say something like "forever here and in heaven?"

Suggestion:

Because you are not married to your spouse in heaven. We will all be brothers and sisters w/God as the bridegroom.

Jesus says that believers are not married to each other in heaven. They'll know each other in heaven (assuming they're both saved), but they won't be married to each other.

In every Christian wedding I've seen, they do say that.
Mine said forever and ever.

Its the people that dont necessarily believe in God and try to play up the whole church wedding that say "until death do us part" at the end.
