There is no doubt, that when it comes to communicating, men and women are polar opposites. Women express themselves verbally, while men tend to express themselves by doing-they show how they feel.
His actions speak volumes and will provide clues to answer the question: Does he really love me?
Clue 1: He gives up time with friends for time with you. Okay, I have to honest here, no guy, will ever completely give up guy time to be with you, I don’t care how much he loves you. It is just a rule, they can never completely do away with guy time; however, he if starts to spend more and more time with you and sees the guys less, this is a BIG clue that he is falling for you.
Clue 2: You become his favorite topic: Guys love to talk about, I didn’t say communicate-two different things, I said, they love to talk about themselves and anything they are interested in. Sports, the stock market, their job, what ever they are involved in, they will talk about. When a guy switches gears and starts wanting to know about you, what you like and dislike, he wants to know about your job, your friends, or the book you are reading, his guy is really into you. This relationship is headed for love.
Clue 3: He invites you into his world: Guys compartmentalize everything. Job, family, friends, girlfriend, all have different compartments in his brain. This is why he can go to work and not think to call you all day, work is work, and you are separate from work. This is why he can hang out with the guys and not mention you all night. He isn’t embarrassed of you and you aren’t a big secret. He’s with the guys, and you and separate from that.
This is a huge source of misunderstanding between women and men. Men are wired differently, and they really don’t mean anything by it. But, when he shows up at your door at 5:30 Saturday morning to take you fishing, first of all you better go, and second, you can guarantee he loves you.
A guy will eventually get around to verbalizing how he feels. In the mean time, you may need to settle for actions speaking louder than words. If he is spending more time with you, wanting to know more about you, and include you in his world; you don’t have to question anymore, “Does he really love me”?
