For Les and Gay: on Marriage, 1 Tuxedo and 1 Wedding Gown, or 2 Same Thing?

So when you're married:
one of you wear tuxedo and the other wearing wedding gown
or both of you wearing tuxedo/wedding gown?

just curious xD

Suggestion:

Last weekend my girlfriend and I were at a party and this topic came up. We both would want to wear a dress. It was kind of an awkward moment because we hadn't talked about this with each other so there was this silence where we both took long drinks of wine and kind of looked at one another waiting to see if we were going to have that conversation and if we were going to do it in front of a bunch of people (which, thankfully, we didn't because it would be pretty involved I'm guessing).

So short answer is we'd both wear dresses. Long answer is that sometimes its more interesting to figure out how you came to that determination : )

It depends on the couple. I think there is more cross-dressing among women at weddings. You're more likely to see a woman in a tux than a man in a dress. Some lesbians both like to wear dresses…or both tuxedos.

For lesbians, a dress and tuxedo or both dresses is fine. Its best to wear a dress and tuxedo just so that their outfits aren't too similar as the dress will be white. I cant imagine Ellen Degeneres in a dress. =/

Guys. ALWAYS both tuxedos. Marc Jacobs looked ridiculous trying to create a new fashion trend by wearing a skirt.

haha ^_^
hmmm well personly, I dont have anyone to marry yet :P
but just me, I would want to wear a dress, but would proberly just go with a nice tuxedo :D

"no offense" ha lol. None taken. I don't know yet, marriage is so far off for me it;s ridiculous. I never even been in love yet, that seems pretty far off for me to. I'm just going to have fun for now. If it does happen, I think two dresses. Not any wedding gowns though. Won't be traditional.

Two tuxedoes for my man and me

It probably depends on the people. For me and my partner I would imagine us both wearing dresses but thats just preference.

Depends on the couple. I've never seen a man wearing anything other than a tux at his wedding — which isn't to say there are *no* men who would wear a dress to their wedding. Women might choose any of those three options. If my gf and I ever get married, we're thinking she'll be in a lavender tea gown and I'll be in some sort of suit (provided the weather is cool enough for pants).

One wears a tux, other wears a gown. Somebody has to be the ***** in the relationship.
