The best way for one to mend a broken marriage is self acceptance. You can’t be right all the time. Both of you, husband and wife must be able to know that deep inside both your hearts, you contributed to the demise of the relationship. Then, it is just right to say that you also have to exert the best effort on earth to save it. I know it is not easy. At one point, you might even need to spend a fortune to fix this by consulting a licensed Couples Therapist. This therapist will be able to make you realize something you dare not realize. You can’t just shut up and leave this relationship. For Christ’s sake, we are talking about marriage and not some relationship revolving around infatuation!
You as a couple have to definitely find the time to settle your differences. Forget ego! Forget pride because it will definitely make things worse. Sit down and talk. Concentrate on how much love you used to have for each other and do something to rekindle the fire. It is possible. If both parties are cooperating, then this undertaking would rather be easy. You have got to be reintroduced to the word compromise, even the word adjustment. All couples go through rough times. You are not an exemption, but remember that most couples have gone through all there is available to save their marriage. Seek professional help. That’s the best thing to do, and then do what you are asked to do. Follow all the exercises you are asked to do, because though silly and ridiculous, it is meant for you to learn more about each other.
