Suggestion:
There is no such thing as engagement announcements. There are wedding announcements after the nuptials and the announcement of the engagement is done on the local newspaper.
You are 2 years out, it is really desperate and uncouth to send things this early. Don't worry, people will give you the attention and presents that you crave so much and feel entitled to when is due time.
