Is Giving a Cookie As a Wedding Favour Tacky and Cheap?

I'm having a hard time finding an idea for a wedding favor that is personal. We have two dogs (their our babies) so I thought maybe we could do cookies that look like dog bones. They would be big enough to write our names or the date or something on them in icing. I don't want people to think that we are cheaping out but I haven't really come up with any other ideas.

Suggestion:

Cookies? Fine.

Shaped like dog bones….will feel like eating dog treats.
