Midnight Blue and Silver Star Themed Wedding Ideas!?
My sister is getting married in 3 months and they just decided their theme for the wedding, It's midnight blue and silver star theme. I need any and every idea you can think of. The only thing that is set is the cake. I need pictures and creative ideas from decorations to invitations to favors to anything you can think of, I need web sites and pictures and anything that could help me get a good idea! I appreciate all the help… Please give me as much info as you can

Suggestion:
I recently saw a great DIY invitation that used silver hearts on a blue background but it would be just as easy to use silver stars. Silver confetti could then be sprinkled on dark blue table cloths with silver vases or candle holders. Stars could be made from cardboard and covered in silver paper or tin foil and hung from the ceiling over the dance floor.

For the invites, get dark blue cardboard or dark blue paper, put into printer and in white font the details of the wedding, leaving a space to enter the name of that person. After, decorate them with silver star stickers or glue on silver stars. Fold in half, put in envelope and seal with a star. (Make sure envelopes are dark blue too.) A bow made of ribbon would add a nice touch to it, too.

Silver Stars are pretty easy to find. I am more of a classy subtle type for decor. Midnight Blue table cloths with sheer silver over lay. Centerpieces………….CANDLES CANDLE CANDLES, see if you can find silver star t-light holders. White floating flowers would be great too.
At the reception………have some lighting broght it, a good lighting company can make it look like there are stars everywhere when it's time to dance and party after the dinner.
I personally wouldn't get too carried away with the 'theme' during the wedding, just use the midnight blue and silver color throughout.
Just remember…keep it CLASSY.
